Applications for Fall 2019 Program
Are Now CLOSED!! The Kuya-Ate-Ading-Program (KAAP) is PUSO's mentorship program. KAAP strives to create a supportive and positive environment by providing a strong familial structure. Kuya/Ate = older brother/sister Ading = younger sibling PROCESS 1) Fill out the application. Don't rush, and take your time filling out the application! 2) Pay the $10.00 General Membership Fee to get access to KAAP, voting rights, and other exclusive events within PUSO valid for the rest of the year! Due by your interview date. Contact the treasurer, Roy to arrange a payment or any of the board members to pay the General Membership fee. You can pay during tabling, during workshops, or general meetings. Cash is preferred, but we accept Venmo and card**. 3) Attend KAAP Info Night Date: October 22nd, 2019 (Tuesday)* Time: 4:00-6:00 PM* Location: California History Center (near Flint Circle/MLC)* 4) You will receive an interview date and time shortly after the reviewing period. These interviews are casual, so be chill! 5) Attend the mandatory mentorship workshop if you're applying to be a Kuya or Ate. Date: October 24th, 2019 (Thursday)* Time: 4:00-6:00 PM* Location: California History Center (near Flint Circle/MLC)* 6) After the matching process is complete, Kuyas and Ates will be notified of their adings and will be required to prepare three sets of clues/presents for them on clue week (December 2nd-5th, 2019). Clues will be presented at tabling which is where the adings will claim clues from their Kuya/Ate. 7) Revealing Day (December 5th, 2019)! All new Kuyas, Ates and Adings will be required to attend revealing day. Get to meet your new Kuya/Ate or Ading! Check out our pictures from Fall Revealing!
